I was commissioned to remove a tired wooden decking and replace it with new, modern composite decking. Additionally, my client wanted to increase the seating area to accommodate new garden furniture.

After removing the old decking, the original frame was assessed and re-used. Additional strengthening was installed where required. New joists and posts were installed to extend the decking. The original stairs were removed with access to the decking at the top of the garden.

Finally, a new balustrade consisting of wire rope and brushed stainless steel posts was installed around the perimeter of the decking.
